A Hyatt House guest is rarely passing through. They are on a work assignment, relocating, or traveling with family, and they expect the suite to work like a small apartment. They cook, they spread out in the living room, and they fill every drawer.
That changes what the furniture has to do. A desk that survives one night guests can fail under someone who works at it every evening for a month. Kitchen doors open and close many times a day.
Coral Hotel Furniture supplies Hyatt House furniture for studio, one bedroom and two bedroom suites, along with the kitchens and public area pieces that complete the property. We build every piece to the approved brand specification you provide as the owner.
Hyatt House is an upscale extended stay brand. Its suites follow a residential plan: a full kitchen, a living room and a sleeping area, with the one bedroom and two bedroom layouts placing the beds behind a door.
Three things follow for the furniture package.
Comparing brands in the family? Our Hyatt Studios furniture page covers the upper midscale extended stay studio, and the Hyatt Place furniture page covers the select service room with a divided seating area.
The bedroom carries the headboard, bed base, nightstands and a dresser or media unit. A king platform bed keeps the floor under the mattress closed off, which housekeeping appreciates on long stays.
The living room usually needs a sleeper sofa, a lounge chair, a coffee or ottoman table, side tables and a media wall. Choose a sleeper mechanism that an adult can open without help, and seat cushions with covers that can be removed for cleaning.
A full kitchen means base and wall cabinets, a counter, and openings sized for the appliances in your specification. We supply the suite kitchen unit with the rest of the room, and our apartment kitchen furniture page shows the cabinet range. Add a dining table or island with seating that tucks out of the walkway.
Extended stay guests unpack. Give them a closet unit with hanging space and shelves, drawers that run smoothly when full, and a luggage bench. A suite desk assembly with power within reach turns a corner of the living room into a real workplace.
Vanities sit in the wettest part of the suite. Look for moisture resistant cores, sealed edges and a solid surface or quartz top, with a mirror and open towel shelving above.
| Area | Furniture items | What to look for |
|---|---|---|
| Bedroom | Headboard, platform bed, nightstands, dresser | Closed bed base, power at the nightstand, strong drawers |
| Living room | Sleeper sofa, lounge chair, ottoman table, media wall | Easy sleeper mechanism, removable cushion covers, hidden cables |
| Kitchen | Base and wall cabinets, counter, appliance openings | Moisture resistant boxes, soft close hinges, openings that match your appliance list |
| Dining | Dining table or island, chairs or stools | Wipe clean tops, stable bases |
| Work and storage | Desk assembly, desk chair, closet unit, luggage bench | Reachable power, full extension drawer slides |
| Bathroom | Vanity, mirror, open shelving | Sealed edges, water resistant core |
Long stay guests use the public areas as an extension of their suite. The lobby often doubles as a lounge and workspace, and the breakfast room is busy every morning.
Typical pieces include a reception desk, lounge seating groups, a communal table, a bar counter, breakfast tables and chairs, and a grab and go market fixture. Mix seat heights so guests can eat, work or sit with a drink in the same room.
Our lobby and breakfast furniture collection shows pieces we build in custom finishes. If you have drawings for these spaces, send them to our team with the suite package.
A suite that is lived in for weeks exposes weak construction quickly.
Laminates and veneers. High pressure laminate suits kitchen fronts, desk tops and nightstand tops because it resists heat marks, spills and scratches. Wood veneer suits headboards and feature panels where contact is lighter.
Edge banding. Thick, well bonded banding on every exposed edge keeps moisture out of the core and stops laminate from lifting.
Hardware. Kitchen hinges and drawer slides are the most used moving parts in the building. Ask for soft close hinges and full extension slides made for commercial use. The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association is a useful reference when you review kitchen specifications.
Upholstery. Sofas and lounge chairs need commercial grade fabric or vinyl that cleans easily, on frames built for daily sitting and regular use as a bed.
Wet areas. Vanities and kitchen sink bases should use moisture resistant board with sealed cut edges.

The steps are the same for a new property, a suite refresh or a PIP. Franchise standards are published by the brand through the Hyatt development team, and your documents are our starting point.
For a PIP, send the scope list as well, so we quote only the items it calls for.
Coral supplies accessible versions of key pieces, including ADA platform beds, an accessible vanity and ADA headboards, in the same finishes as your standard suites.
Your architect or designer sets the accessible layouts against the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design.
You can see the full Hyatt family we furnish on our Hyatt hotel furniture page.
